DDK Digital Function: IRQ_hook

Discussion

Input:

AX = IRQ channel 0-15
DX = offset of ISR in driver code segment

Output:

DX:BX = previous ISR address
CX = previous contents of PIC mask registers
All registers changed

Purpose:

Enables IRQs on desired channel and installs ISR

Notes:

This function returns all data necessary to completely restore the status and ISR address of the selected IRQ channel. These values should be preserved and passed to IRQ_unhook prior to driver termination.
